HUNT VALLEY, Maryland, March 20, 2008 — AAI Services Corporation, a subsidiary of AAI Corporation, an operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today that its T-25 Simulator for Electronic Combat Training (SECT) system has exceeded 100,000 training hours in service of the U.S. Air Force. Throughout this milestone number of training hours, the AAI Services team also delivered an overall availability rate of 99.95 percent.

Located at Randolph Air Force Base in Texas, the SECT system provides comprehensive training for Air Force electronic warfare officers in a safe and state-of-the-art simulated environment. The system creates a variety of realistic weather, terrain and airfield operations scenarios to ensure Air Force personnel are fully prepared for front-line duties.
AAI has a long history of supporting the Air Force’s training needs. In the 1970s, AAI built the Simulator for Electronic Warfare Training (SEWT), which was successfully utilized by the Air Force and maintained by AAI Services personnel until the 1990s. The SECT system was also designed by AAI and introduced during the 1990s, and received a comprehensive upgrade by AAI Services in 2006.
